Vibration Response Imaging™.

VRI™, like ultrasound, is a non-invasive, radiation-free medical imaging modality. The technology is based on the dynamic representation of characteristic acoustic vibrations from the organ of interest. The VRI™ recordings reveal organ-specific and pathology-specific acoustic patterns.
Deep Breeze currently focuses on the respiratory system. The company developed sophisticated software to perform analysis in the time-frequency domain in order to reveal the status of the lungs. The amplitude, phase, frequency and many other sound-specific characteristics are being analyzed and quantified in order to assist various specialized clinicians in diagnosis and monitoring in an easy, user-friendly way at various points of care. Today over 150 systems have been installed worldwide.

Home Monitoring, Telemedicine*

Further development of the VRI™ technique enables monitoring of lung status in chronically ill patients at home. The recorded and quantified data is analyzed by health care professionals via telemedicine and by direct contact with the patient and clinician.
