Ensuring Correct Patient Intubation

Mediastinum Mass - 33 y.o. Female

This patient was mechanically ventilated using a double lumen tube before surgical intervention. The first image shows both lungs adequately ventilated in pressure control mode. In the second image, the left lung was clamped and only the right lung was ventilated. In the third image, the right lung was clamped and only the left lung was ventilated. The VRIICU™ device helps to ensure the correct positioning of the tube in the Intensive Care Unit and in the Operating Room.
