Case 2 - 44 y.o. Male
Patient Presentation:
This patient with 35 year history of asthma presented to the Emergency Department with shortness of breath that had started twenty minutes earlier. He was able to speak, but in short sentences only; and he was clearly anxious. His vital signs were as follows: temperature 37.2°, respiratory rate was 24 breaths per minute and blood pressure was 123/78. On physical examination, chest auscultation revealed scattered wheezes but no observation of diminished breath sounds.

VRIxp™ on Presentation:
 Lack ofsynchronization
   in the dynamic
   movement of energy
  Inconsistent
   progression/regression
  Amputation of the
    right lower lung field
    indicating diminished
    breath sounds
  In that area
   wheezes are indicated

VRIxp™ 15 Minutes Post-inhalation:
  Overall improvement
  Less dysynchrony
  Progression/regression
of the right lung is now
    consistent
  No amputation in the
    right lower lung field
  Wheezes can no longer  be
