| Right Pleural Effusion - 66 y.o. Male |

Patient Data:
The patient presented with right pleural effusion, post-coronary bypass.

Pre-drainage image of the VRIxp™ Device:
Amputation of the left lower lung
Classic meniscus shape with a triangle of lower vibration intensity in the surrounding area
Diminished vibration intensity of the whole left lung
Post-drainge the image:
Slight amputation in the left lower lung
Amputation is not shaped in the familiar triangular form of diminished vibration intensity.
The left lung as a whole has diminished intensity.
Explanation: this patient has been diagnosed with malignant pleural effusion. Post-1800ml fluid removal the patient shows some improvement, but the left lung is still very sick. Based on the image of the VRIxp™ device we cannot exclude the presence of additional fluid.

Pre- Drainage image by the VRIxp™ device:
Area of residual vibration response
Meniscus shape with a triangle of lower vibration intensity in the surrounding area
The X-ray reflects the upper line of the fluid whereas on the VRIxp™ device's image reflects the residual vibration of the area due to chronicle suffocation by the pressure of the fluid. Explanation:
