New Horizons in Respiratory Care

Objective, Non-Invasive, Radiation-Free

Vibration Response Imaging (VRI™) is a new medical imaging modality enabling visual and quantitative representation of sounds created by the human body, in real time. Any organ generating characteristic sounds can be imaged.

Functional Diagnostic Imaging and Disease Monitoring

Deep Breeze’s focus today is the respiratory system and, in particular, functional dynamic imaging and monitoring of the lungs of patients with chronic conditions such as Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), asthma and Congestive Heart Failure (CHF). Nevertheless, the VRI™ technology can be used as an aid in diagnosis for many other lung pathologies.

Technology

Deep Breeze’s VRI™ technology is protected by 19 international patents and pending patents. More than 30 peer-reviewed papers in renowned medical journals describe the technology, its clinical applications and the results. Presently there are over 150 VRI™ systems installed in various countries in the world.

Future

The versatility of potential applications for VRI™ and its proliferation gives the technology the potential to reach all points of care: in the hospital, the private clinic and even in the home.

"The VRI™ technology is a new medical imaging modality joining other aid in diagnostic methods, such as X-ray and ultrasound, in the physician's toolbox and playing a role in patient management at all points of care."
